Our 11 year old and her cousin were having a blast one evening catching crayfish from the rocky shore along our cabin property. That got me thinking about the amazing crawdad boil I attended once in Louisiana. Could we find a recipe and re-create the magic?
For the next three nights (way easier to find at night) we stalk the shore with flashlights until we had enough crayfish to feed 7 people. Then I headed to town to find a recipe at the library (our only internet access...) and buy the ingredients. I found this great recipe that was perfect:
I gotta say, for our first attempt it was pretty spectacular. I think we have a new cabin tradition!
